SPEECH PRACTICE
Talk about marathon clubs.
[Response]
In the past, I thought marathons were all about running on and on. But after I joined a club for marathoners and tried it myself, I realized that marathons are a lot like our lives, in many ways.
The ultimate goal is to run the full course of 42.195kilometers. There are also 21-kilometers half-marathons, and 10K races. Runners might slow down their pace or even walk if they get too tired halfway through. There are various marathon races in different areas, so you can choose one that is right for you.
In the club I joined, I learned that there is no way you can run a marathon without practice. The most important thing is to run at your own pace, and to maintain a steady pace. You shouldn't bite off more than you can chew. Otherwise, you might become tired too soon, or even sustain an injury.
