Talk about January Weather in Korea.
한국의 1월 날씨에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

[Response]

January in Korea has the lowest average temperature of the year. Morning lows are always below freezing. Even daytime highs hover around 0 degrees. During severe cold spells, it's hard to even go outside. When the
weather is gusty, the wind chill temperature drops even further. January is also the month with the most snow. The snowfall amount changes each year. But you're more likely than not to see snowy days in January.

한국의 1월은 연중 평균 기온이 가장 낮은 달이다. 아침 최저 기온은 항상 영하권을 기록하고, 낮 최고 기온도 0도 안팎에 머문다. 한파가 극심할 때는 바깥 출입조차 힘들 정도다. 바람이 강하게 부는 날에는 체감 기온이 더 떨어진다. 1월은 눈이 가장 많이 내리는 달이기도 하다. 적설량은 해마다 차이는 나지만, 1월에 눈이 내리는 날을 볼 가능성이 높다.

Winter in Korea is often bitterly cold. If you don't bundle up, you're very likely to catch a cold. To maintain body temperature, many people dress in layers. Men, women, and children often wear thermal underwear. This helps them maintain their body temperature. Warm sweaters and heavy coats are popular as outerwear. In recent years, long puffer coats have become popular, and many people wear them. Scarves, wool hats, and gloves are also wintertime must-haves.

한국의 겨울은 매섭게 추운 날이 많다. 옷을 따뜻하게 입지 않으면 감기에 걸릴 가능성이 매우 많다. 체온 유지를 위해서 많은 사람들은 옷을 겹겹이 껴입는다. 남녀노소를 불문하고 내복을 입는 경우가 많다. 이러한 내복은 체온 유지에 도움이 된다. 겉옷으로는 따뜻한 스웨터나 두꺼운 코트를 많이 입는다. 최근 몇 년 사이에는 롱 패딩 점퍼가 유행하고 있어서, 이러한 옷을 입는 사람들이 많다. 또한 목도리나 털모자, 장갑도 겨울철 필수품들이다.
