One of the biggest nuisances when using public transportation is when it gets overcrowded with passengers. Taking the subway during morning rush hour is especially bad. The bus is no better. Sometimes you can't even get on because it's so jam-packed with passengers. Heavy traffic can also inconvenience people. It's especially bad on certain days of the week. Bus-only lanes solve the problem to a degree. However, they are of little use in chronically congested areas.

A while back, I took the subway to commute to work. It was really crowded, so I barely managed to get on the train. It was hard to even stay on my feet because I was wedged in between people. To add insult to injury, it was raining outside and everyone had a wet umbrella. Also, someone had gone overboard with their perfume. It gave me a headache. Seeing someone acting inconsiderately on public transportation like that put a frown on my face.
