항공 여행과 관련된 본인의 취향에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

나는 항공권을 예매할 때, 가장 저렴한 표를 찾으려고 노력한다. 같은 노선의 가격을 비교할 수 있는 온라인 사이트가 여러 개 있다. 그리고 요즘은 특히 저가 항공사들이 많아서, 마음만 먹으면 비교적 저렴한 표를 구하기가 어렵지 않다. 장거리 노선의 경우 직항 항공편도 좋지만, 가격 차이가 많이 나면 어딘가를 경유해서 가는 항공권을 선택하기도 한다. 기내 좌석은 창가 쪽을 선호한다. 다른 사람들이 일어서서 어디 갈 때 내가 비켜 주지 않아도 되기 때문에 편리하다. 또한 사용 금액에 따라 항공사 마일리지가 적립되는 신용 카드를 사용하고 있다. 이 마일리지를 이용하면, 표를 무료로 받거나 좌석을 업그레이드할 수도 있다. 또한 기내에 무거운 수화물을 타는 것을 싫어해서 주로 짐들을 부치고 기내에서 정말 필요한 필수품만 가볍게 들고 탄다.

When I book a flight, I try to find tickets at bargain basement prices. There are several websites where you can compare prices for a flight itinerary. There are also lots of low-cost carries these days, so it's not hard to find reasonably priced tickets if you set your mind to it. Non-stop flights are great for long-haul routes, but I sometimes choose a ticket with a layover if the price gap is big. I prefer window seats in planes. It's convenient because I don't need to scooch over when someone needs to get up and move. I also use a credit card that lets me accumulate miles for an airline depending on how much I spend. I can trade in the mileage for free tickets or seat upgrades. I don't like to get on a plane with heavy carry-on luggage so I usually check my bags. I travel light and only bring my essentials on the plane.

짐을 적게 가지고 여행하는 것이 travel light라고 해서 반대로 짐을 많이 들고 여행하는 것을 travel heavy라고 말하는 경우는 드물다. 대신 pack a lot, carry lots of luggage 등 직접적인 표현을 쓰는 것이 자연스럽다.
