느리게 가는 우체통

<말하기 연습>
When I visit major tourist spots, I sometimes come across something called a "slow mailbox." Whenever I see one, I almost never skip the chance to handwrite a letter to my family. I always get caught up in the moment, so my handwriting or the content is usually a little messy.
주요 관광지를 가다 보면 '느리게 가는 우체통'이라는 것을 발견하곤 한다. 나는 이럴 때마다 거의 빼먹지 않고 가족에게 손편지를 쓴다. 매번 마음이 앞서다 보니 글씨체나 내용이 좀 엉성한 경우가 많다.

A postcard I had dropped into a slow mailbox finally arrived at our home recently. Just imagining the look on my family's faces made me smile. I also felt grateful to the postal workers who made sure it was delivered.
최근에 '느린 우체통'을 통해 보낸 엽서가 마침내 집에 도착했다. 이를 받게 될 가족의 얼굴을 떠 올리면 입가에 미소가 번지게 된다. 그리고 엽서를 확실히 배달해 주신 우체국 직원들에게 감사하는 마음이 들었다.
