항공사 승무원입니다

<말하기 연습>
I am an airline flight attendant. I felt devastated for a long time after the recent aviation accident in Korea. But even today, I greet the passengers. I feel like I could burst into tears at the slightest touch, but I grit my teeth and welcome them with a smile. The captain and all of my colleagues are giving our very best.
저는 항공사 승무원입니다. 최근 우리나라에서 발생했던 항공기 사고로 저는 한동안 비통한 심정이었습니다. 그렇지만 오늘도 저는 승객을 맞이합니다. 살짝만 건드려도 울음이 터질 것 같지만, 이를 악물고 웃으며 탑승객을 맞이합니다. 그렇게 기장님 포함 모든 동료들이 최선을 다하고 있습니다.

Flight attendants go through intensive training to renew our qualifications each year. We prepare for emergency landings on the sea, on land, in the mountains, or even in polar regions, so we know exactly what to do.
객실 승무원은 매년 자격을 갱신하기 위해 강도 높은 훈련과 교육을 받습니다. 비행기가 바다, 땅 위, 산, 심지어 극지방에 비상 착륙할 경우를 대비해, 해야 할 업무를 정확히 익힙니다.

All we ask is that passengers trust us and follow our guidance if anything happens. We'll make sure to get you to your destination more safely and comfortably than with any other form of transportation.
바라건대 유사시에 승객들은 저희 승무원을 믿고 지시에 잘 따라 주시면 좋겠습니다. 그 어느 이동 수단보다 더 안전하고 편안하게 목적지까지 모셔다 드리겠습니다.
