<말하기 연습>
As a full -time homemaker, I am in charge of all our household affairs. I have a routine follow on the first day of every month to take care of household chores.
저는 전업주부로서 살림 전반을 담당하고 있습니다. 매월 1일이 되면 하는 저만의 집안일 루틴이 있습니다.

First, I replace various daily necessities like sponges, rags, and toothbrushes. It's not sanitary to use them for too long, so I replace them regularly. I gather them up at the end of each month, clean up around them, and then throw them out.
우선 수세미, 행주, 칫솔 같은 여러 생활용품을 교체합니다. 너무 오래 사용하면 위생상 좋지 않기 때문에 정기적으로 교체합니다. 매월 말일에 모아서 주변 청소를 한 다음 버립니다.

I also clean out the fridge. I can reduce food waste by regularly organizing the fridge, because it lets me use up ingredients that are nearing their expiration date. Since I can clean up the fridge as I organize the contents, I don't have to set aside time for a major clean-up.
그리고 냉장고 정리도 합니다. 주기적으로 냉장고 정리를 하면 유통 기한이 임박한 식재료를 소진할 수 있어서 음식물 쓰레기를 줄일 수 있습니다. 내용물 정리를 하면서 냉장고 청소를 하니 일부러 시간을 내어 대청소를 하지 않아도 됩니다.

I think it's good to have routines for certain days of the month, even if it's for things other than housework.
꼭 이렇게 살림이 아니더라도 매월 특정 날짜에 뭔가 루틴으로 정해서 하는 것은 참 좋은 것 같습니다.
