<말문을 여는 패턴>

정문 근처에서 사고가 있었죠.

Of all the modes of transportation in Korea, buses are the most commonly used. There are bus lanes in downtown areas of cities where only buses can go, so taking a bus often saves time.

Display panels at Korea's bus stops show the ETA of the buses that stop there. This helps make sure that passengers don't miss their bus. There are bus stops that are heated in case of snow. Some bus stops have even installed systems to check passengers' temperature before boarding, because of COVID-19.

You can pay cash for the bus fare, but most people these days use transportation cards, As you get on the bus, you tap your card to the card reader. There are both pre-paid cards and deferred payment cards for transportation.

시내 버스에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

한국의 여러 교통수단 중에서 버스는 가장 대중화되어 있는 교통수단이다. 도심 지역에 버스만 다닐 수 있는 버스 전용 차로가 있어서, 버스를 타면 시간이 덜 걸리는 경우가 많다.

우리나라 버스 정류장에는 그곳에 정차하는 버스의 예상 도착 시간이 패널에 표시된다. 이는 승객이 버스를 놓치지 않도록 도와준다. 눈이 올 경우를 대비해 열선이 깔려 있는 정류장들도 있다. 그리고 코로나 19로 인해 탑승전에 승객들의 체온을 측정하는 시스템을 도입한 정류장들도 있다.

버스 요금의 경우 현금 지불도 가능하지만, 요즘은 대부분의 사람들이 교통카드를 사용한다. 버스에 탑승하면서 단말기에 카드를 인식시키면 된다. 교통카드는 선불제 또는 후불제 두가지 방식이 있다.
