Level 1. 스타트 잉글리쉬.

A: 샐리, 쓰레기봉투 가져다 줄래? 쓰레기통 비우려고.
B: 여기 있어.
A: 고마워.
B: 샐리, 쓰레기통에 이런 알루미늄 캔 버리면 안돼. 이건 재활용품이야.
A: 앗. 미안. 깜빡했다. 다음번엔 분리하는걸 기억할께.

A: Sally, Will you get me a gatbage bag? I'll empty the trash can.
B: Here you go.
A: Thanks.
B: You shouldn't put these aluminum cans in the trash can. They're recyclables.
A: Oops. Sorry. I forgot. I'll remember to separate them next time.

Level 2. 이지 잉글리쉬.

A: 내가 여기서 뭐 보내줄 거라도 있어?
B: 하하. 여기서도 다 살 수 있어. 근처에 큰 마트랑 식당이 있는데 뭘.
A: 번화가에 사는 거야?
B: 아니. 근데 마트까지 30분이면 갈 수 있어.
A: 30분 이라고? 마크까지 걸어가?
B: 응. 내가 말했잖아 그러는게 즐겁다고!

A: Is there anything I can send you from here?
B: Ha ha. I can get everything here. There's big market and restaurants nearby
A: Do you live on a busy street?
B: No, but I can get to a market in 30 minutes.
A: 30 minutes? You walk to the market?
B: Yes. Like I said it's enjoyable!

Level 3. 입트영.

Talk about markets in apartment complexes.

A market is held in our apartment complex every Wednesday. It's called the "Wednesday Market" because that's when it take place. The biggest selling point is that you can buy fresh produce and fish, which are hard to find at ordinary supermarkets.

On market day, you can also find lots of ready-to-eat snacks. For exmaple, you can buy and enjoy traditional foods like hotteok hotcakes and pig's trotters. You can also get various puffed snacks that are usually only sold at traditional markets. If you bring ingredients like rice cakes, corn, or toasted rice, they even make the snacks for you on the spot.

Everyone is very generous at the Wednesday Market. You can really connect with people there. You can also haggle over prices. Everyone is all laughs as the vendors and shoppers ask after each other.

아파트 단지 내 장터에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

우리 아파트 단지에는 매주 수요일에 장이 열린다. 수요일에 장이 열린다고 해서 "수요 장터"라고 한다. 최고의 장점은 일반 마트에서는 구하기 힘든 신선한 농산물과 생선 등을 구입할 수 있다는 것이다.

장이 서는 날에는, 다양한 즉석 먹거리들도 찾아볼 수 있다. 예를 들면, 호떡이나 족발과 같은 전통 음식을 사 먹을 수 있다. 전통 시장에서만 판매하는 뻥튀기 과자도 다양하게 구입할 수 있다. 떡, 옥수수, 누룽지 등의 재료를 직접 가져가면, 즉석에서 뻥튀기 과자를 만들어 주기도 한다.

수요 장터에서는 모두 인심이 넉넉하다. 사람ㄷㄹ과 정을 나눌 수 있는 곳이다. 가격 흥정도 할 수 있고, 상인과 손님들이 서로 간에 안부를 물으며 웃음꽃이 핀다.
