Level 3. 입트영.

Talk about online classes that have become common in schools.

With the coronavirus crisis dragging on, many schools have held both online and offline classes over the past year. Teachers produced video lessons using various gadgets and gizmos, and video editing software. Some classes were held in real time, using videoconferencing platforms.
​
Students are growing accustomed to this kind of socially distanced learning. Students with good self-directed study habits were able to study even more efficiently than before. With videos, they could skip ahead to just the parts they couldn't get a grasp of. Direct messages have also made it easier to ask the teacher some questions.
​
But with classes being held from home, some students aren't hitting the books at all. Some of them have experienced a dip in their academic performances.

일선 학교의 보편화된 온라인 수업에 대해서 이야기해 주세요

코로나바이러스 사태가 장기화되면, 상당수의 학교 현장에서는 지난 1년간 온라인과 오프라인 수업을 병행하게 되었다. 교사들은 각종 기기와 동영상 편집 프로그램 등을 이용해서 수업영상을 제작했다. 화상 회의 플랫폼을 이용해서 실시간 수업도 진행했다.

학생들도 이렇게 비대면으로 공부하는 것이 점점 익숙해져 가고 있다. 자기 주도형 학습 습관이 잘 갖춰진 학생은 이전보다 더 효율적으로 공부할 수 있었다. 영상을 건너뛰면서 모르는 부분만 볼 수 있었다. 또한 일대일 메시지를 통해 선생님에게 질문 하기도 편해졌다.

그러나 집에서 수업이 진행되다 보니 공부를 전혀 하지 않는 학생들도 있다. 그래서 일부 학생들은 오히려 학업 성취도가 떨어졌다.
