<말하기 연습>
I used to be afraid of doing anything all by myself. I had never dined solo or watched a movie alone, and especially never even imagined I could travel by myself.
저는 그 어떤 것이든 혼자 하는 것을 두려워했던 사람입니다. 혼밥도 혼영(혼자 연화 보기)도 해 본 적이 없는 저는 특히나 혼자 가는 여행은 상상도 하지 못했습니다.

But just before I turned thirty, I planned a month-long trip with friends and family. During that time, I spent 2 nights and 3 days alone in New York. Once I arrived in New York and started walking along the streets, all my worries and fears about traveling alone vanished without a trace.
그러나 서른 살이 되기 바로 전에, 친구와 가족들과 한 달간의 여행을 계획했고, 그중 2박 3일 동안은 혼자 뉴욕에서 보내게 되었습니다. 막상 뉴욕에 도착해 길거리를 걸으니 혼자 여행하는 것에 대한 걱정과 두려움은 말끔히 사라졌습니다.

I loved the freedom to walk wherever my feet took me and the leisurely, reflective moments during my time spent alone. I enjoyed the sunlight in New York, the sense of freedom, and the cozy feeling even in a strange and bustling city. I had a wonderful time in New York, the city of romance. It was a journey that allowed me to experience personal growth.
혼자만의 시간 속에서 발길 닿는 대로 걷는 자유로움과 여유롭게 사색하는 시간들이 정말 좋았습니다. 뉴욕의 햇살, 자유로움, 낯설고 북적이는 도시에서도 느껴지는 아늑함이 좋았습니다. 낭만의 도시인 뉴욕 여행은 정말 행복한 시간이었습니다. 덕분에 저도 개인적으로 성장할 수 있었던 여행이었습니다.
