The Pros and Cons of Fame.
People have a desire to be recognized and loved by others. In recent years, influencers and YouTubers have topped the list of what grade school kids want to be when they grow up.
But sometimes, I doubt whether famous people are really satisfied with life. It can't be easy for everyone to know and see everything about my private life. There is no room for error.
There is famous line in the Spiderman movies: "with great power comes great resposibility." In the same vein, I think famous people sometimes have to do things against their will because of their influnce. For people who rise to fame when they are young, it must be even more of a burden.
유명인의 삶의 명암.
사람들은 남들에게 인정받으며 사랑받고 싶은 욕구가 있다. 최근 몇 년간 초등학생의 장래 희망 순위 중 인플루언서와 유투버가 상위권에 올라 있을 정도이다.
그런데 가끔 유명인들이 자신의 삶에 정말 만족하는지 의문이 들 때가 있다. 다른 사람들이 내 사생활의 모든 것을 알고 있고 보고 있다는 것이 쉽지 않을 것 같기도 하다. 게다가 작은 실수도 용납되지 않는다.
스파이더맨 영화의 명대사 중 "큰 권력에는 큰 책임이 따른다."는 대사가 있다. 이와 유사하게 유명인들은 그들의 영향력 때문에 원하지 않아도 해야만 하는 일들이 있는 것 같다. 특히 어린 나이에 유명세를 탄 사람들은 그것이 더욱더 큰 짐으로 다가올 것이다.
