Personal expression is very important these days, so there is a wide variety of companion animals. Among them, parrots are catching on as popular pet birds. Raising a parrot at home can feel unfamiliar at first, but a surprisingly large number of households are doing just that.
I have two pet parrots at home. Raising parrots comes with a lot of perks. Unlike dogs or cats, they don't shed fur, so they won't trigger your allergies. Also, there's no need to walk them. They're quite healthy, without any niggling illnesses, and they don't need to get shots.
Most of all, parrots are as obedient and affectionate as dogs. They are hightly intelligent, so you can train them to do tricks. And of course, parrots are well known for their ability to imitate what people say.
반려 앵무새에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
요즘은 개성이 매우 중요한 시대인 만큼 반려동물도 다양하다. 그중에서 앵무새는 반려조로서 사람들에게 인기를 끌고 있다. 집에서 앵무새를 키우는 것이 처음에는 생소할 수 있지만, 그렇게 하고 있는 가정이 의외로 많다.
나는 집에서 앵무새 두 마리를 키우고 있다. 앵무새를 키우는 데에는 많은 매력이 있다. 개나 고양이와는 달리 털이 빠지지 않기 때문에 알레르기를 유발하지 않는다. 또한, 산책을 시키지 않아도 된다. 잔병 없이 꽤 건강한 편이고, 예방 접종을 받을 필요도 없다.
무엇보다도 앵무새들은 개만큼이나 사람을 잘 따르고 애교가 많다. 지능이 상당히 높아서 훈련을 시키면 여러가지 재주도 부릴 수 있다. 물론, 사람들이 하는 말을 따라 하는 것도 앵무새들이 가진 잘 알려진 능력이다.
