Guinea pigs are rodents that are very popular as pets. They have a gentle dispositon, and adorable doll-like faces. Their plump rear ends make them look similar to pigs, which is why they were given that name.
Guinea pigs scare easily and they are sensitive, but they take to people surprisingly well. They recognize their family's voices and smells of food. They also recognize their own name. Sometimes, they beg for food. They are also quite clever and can be taught tricks.
Because of their digestive system, guinea pigs eat all day long. If they remain on an empty stomach for too long, they might die. To raise a healthy guinea pig, you have to pay close attention to their food. They require an unlimited supply of fresh water and hay. You should also feed them pet food and fresh produce to suppement nutrients.
기니피그에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
기니피그는 설치류로 애완동물로 많은 사랑을 받고 있습니다. 성격이 아주 온순하며, 인형 같은 귀여운 얼굴을 갖고 있지요. 통통한 엉덩이 때문에 돼지와 비슷해 보이는데, 그래서 기니피그라는 이름이 붙었다고 해요.
기니피그는 겁이 많고 예민하긴 하지만, 의외로 사람들을 잘 따릅니다. 가족들의 목소리나 음식 냄새를 잘 인지하고, 본인의 이름도 알아듣습니다. 먹이를 달라고 울기도 한답니다. 꽤 똑똑해서 여러가지 재주를 배울 수도 있습니다.
기니피그는 소화 기관의 특성상 하루 종일 먹습니다. 너무 오랜기간 동안 공복이 유지되면 죽을 수도 있습니다. 건강한 기니피그로 키우려면 먹이에 신경을 많이 써야 합니다. 신선한 물과 건초는 무한으로 공급이 되어야 합니다. 그 외에 영양분 보충을 위한 사료와 신성한 야채도 공급해 줘야 합니다.
