Talk about apologizing.
There are many times in our lives when we have to apologize. How we handle the situation can change the outcome dramatically.
Applogizning doesn't come easily to me, so I try to steer clear of those situations. But sometimes, apologies are necessary despite my best efforts. I have a 12-year-old daughter, and I often acted unfairly against her, compared to her 10-year-old brother. I think I was tired out by raising kids and had issues with my husband, and I took it out on my daughter. That drove us apart.
But I thought long and hard about my worngdoings recently. I explained what was on my mind to my daughter and sincerely apologized. We all cried our eyes out. After the process of better understanding each other, our family resolved to love each other and try harder.
사과에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
살다 보면 사과를 해야하는 순간들이 많이 온다. 그리고 그 상황에 어떻게 대처하는가에 따라 결과는 크게 달라진다.
나는 사과를 쉽게하지 못해서 그런 상황을 피하려고 노력하는 편이다. 하지만 나의 노력에도 불구하고 사과가 꼭 필요한 순간이 오기도 한다. 나는 12살 된 딸이 있는데, 10살 남동생과 비교하며 자주 차별을 해 왔다. 아마도 육아에 지치고 남편과 문제가 생겨 딸아이에게 화풀이를 했던 것 같다. 그럴수록 나와 큰 딸과의 사이는 멀어져 갔다.
그런 나의 잘못을 최근에 깊이 생각해 봤고, 큰 딸에게 나의 솔직한 감정과 고민을 설명하고 진심 어린 사과를 했다. 우리는 모두 눈물을 펑펑 쏟았다. 서로를 더 잘 이해하는 과정을 거친 후, 우리 가족은 서로를 더 많이 사랑하고 더 열심히 노력하기로 다짐했다.
