라임: No, it's 리차드, your friend. She says she left her phone here.
노랭: Oh, right, it's here. Please tell her I'll be down there with her phone.
라임: Alright. Then I'll just wait for the pizza here.

Talk about self-quarantining overseas.

Story 1.
To travel overseas these days, you need to get tested for COVID-19 72hours before departure. You need to present test result. Each country has different requirement for entry. You will have to prepare the paperwork accordingly. When you arrive, they take your temperature and check your physical condition. Then, they take you to a quarantine facility. At the facility, they take your temperature every other day. You get a COVID test at the begining and end of your quarantine. The two weeks can be very boring. You should prepare books or games to make the most of your stay.

Story 2.
Last September, I visited China for business. When I arrived at the airport, a bus was waiting. Everyone get on the bus, and we were in quarantine for 14 days at a designated hotel. We could not set foot outside the hotel rooms. We received boxed meals 3 times a day, but the food did not sit well with me. I got by eating the instant noodles I had brought with me. To pass the time, I watched a lot of movies and TV shows. Sometimes, I attended video conference. When I returned to Korean in December, I had to do it all over again for two weeks.

해외에서의 자가 격리에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

이야기 1. 
요즘 해외로 여행을 가려면 출국 72시간 전에 코로나19 검사를 받아서, 음성 결과지를 제출해야 한다. 각 나라마다 요구하는 입국 조건이 다르기 때문에 그에 맞는 서류를 준비해야한다. 그 나라에 도착하면 체온을 측정하고 건강상태를 체크한다. 그리고 나서 격리 기관으로 옮겨진다. 격리 기간에서는 이틀에 한 번씩 체온을 측정하고, 코로나19 검사를 격리 시작 할때 한 번, 격리 끝날 때 도 한 번 한다. 2주간의 격리 기간이 지루하기 때문에, 시간을 의미 있고 재미있게 보낼 수 있도록 책이나 게임 등을 준비하는 것이 좋다.

이야기 2. 
작년 9월에 업무차 중국에 출장을 갔습니다. 공항에 도착하니 버스가 대기하고 있었습니다. 모두가 버스에 탔고, 지정 호텔에 가서 14일간 격리되었습니다. 호텔방 밖으로는 한 발짝도 나갈 수가 없었습니다. 하루 세 차례 도시락을 받았는데 음식이 잘 맞지 않아 가져간 라면을 먹으면서 버텼습니다. 시간을 보내기 위해, 여러 편의 영화와 TV 드라마를 봤습니다. 때로는 화상 회의를 하기도 했습니다. 12월 한국에 돌아와서는 다시 집에서 2주간 격리를 해야 했습니다.
