Talk about escape room cafes.

In Korea, there is a type of game called "escape rooms." I am not entirely sure when the game started to catch on, but you can easily find lots of escape room cafes all around.
​
In an escape room game, you are locked in a room and have to escape by solving problems.
You need to look for clues to get your hands on a passcode or a key. That's how you escape the room. The game is so popular that it is even shown on TV entertainment shows.
​
I've had some fun at escape room cafes a few times myself. I have a passion for mystery novels and thriller movies, so it was right up my alley. It's on the pricey side, but I think it is worth the cost.

방탈출 카페에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

우리나라에는 '방탈출'이라고 하는 게임이 있다. 그 게임이 언제부터 유행하기 시작했는지는 잘 모르지만, 주변 곳곳에서 방탈출 카페들을 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있다.
​
방탈출 게임에서는, 방에 갇힌 상태에서 문제를 풀어서 탈출해야 한다. 단서들을 찾아 비밀번호나 열쇠를 획득하면, 방을 탈출할 수 있다. 그 게임은 워낙 인기가 있다 보니 TV 예능 방송에 나오기도 한다.

실제로 나도 방탈출 카페에 몇 번 가서 즐긴 적이 있다.
평소에 추리 소설이나 스릴러 영화를 좋아해서인지 딱 내 취향이었다. 이용 금액이 비싼 편이지만, 그만한 값어치를 하는 것 같다.
