<말하기 연습>
I work at a public institution in Daejeon called Daejeon Technopark. I play a role in revitalizing the local corporate ecosystem. The city of Daejeon has recently been focusing on initiatives for quantum computing. The city has signed MOUs with French quantum industry companies and is establishing cooperative ties between the two countries.
저는 '대전 테크노파크'라는 대전의 공공 기관에서 일하며, 역내 기업 생태계를 살리기 위한 역할을 맡고 있습니다. 최근에 대전시는 양자 컴퓨팅을 위한 사업 구축에 몰두하고 있습니다. 그 일환으로 프랑스의 양자 산업 기업들과 양해 각서(MOU)를 체결하고 양국 간의 협력 관계를 구축하고 있습니다.

A representative from a French company visited Daejeon City Hall to sign the MOU. It fell on me to be the interpreter for the signing, so I participated in the entire process.
프랑스 기업 대표가 MOU 체결을 위해 대전 시청에 방문하였습니다. 그 협약 체결의 단계에서 저는 통역사로 임명되어, 모든 순간을 함께 하였습니다.

I opened my ears, not wanting miss a single word. I tried to thoroughly review the unfamiliar jargon of the quantum industry, and to understand the industrial ecosystem. Through this interpreting experience, I was further driven to study English harder.
저는 한 마디도 놓치지 않으려고 귀를 쫑긋하고 들었습니다. 또한 양자 산업의 생소한 용어들을 꼼꼼히 되새기며 산업 생태계를 이해하려고 노력했습니다. 이번 통역 경험을 통해, 저는 영어 공부를 더 열심히 해야겠다는 의지도 불태우게 되었습니다.
