네팔 친구의 농촌 방문기.

<말하기 연습>
I have a friend from Nepal named Ananta. He's a civil servant in Nepal, and while he's always eager to learn about life in a developed country like Korea, he's also interested in Korea's primary industries. I wanted to create a special memory for him.
나에게는 네팔에서 온 Ananta라는 친구가 있다. 네팔의 공무원인 이 친구는 늘 한국 같은 선진국의 생활에 대해 무척 알고 싶어 하면서도, 반대로 한국의 1차 산업에도 관심이 많다. 나는 이 친구에게 특별한 추억을 하나 만들어 주고 싶었다.

So, I decided to take him to my maternal grandparents' house in Gamjugol, Gimcheon. The region is a typical agricultural community. It's sorrounded by mountains, so the air there is fresh and clean.
그래서 김천 감주골에 위치한 우리 외갓집에 친구를 데려가기로 했다. 이곳은 전형적인 농경 지역으로, 사방이 산으로 둘러싸여 있어서 공기가 맑고 상쾌하다.

We spend two days and one night helping out on my uncle's farm. We had a wonderful time as we took in the beautiful scenery together. We also visited Jikjisa, a historic Buddhist temple in Gimcheon, and toured the surrounding area. We took tons of photos with beautiful backgrounds. It was a great time, and both my friend and I were 100% satisfied.
1박 2일 동안 친구와 함께 외삼촌의 농장 일을 도왔다. 그리고 같이 아름다운 풍경을 바라보며 즐거운 시간을 보냈다. 또한 김천에 있는 고찰인 직지사에 방문하여 주변 구경도 하였다. 우리는 예쁜 배경으로 사진도 많이 찍었다. 내 친구도 나도 100퍼센트 만족한 행복한 시간이었다.
