Level 1. 스타트 잉글리쉬.

A: What do you do before going to bed?
B: Let me think. Well, I make a to-do list for the next day. And then I meditate for five minutes.
A: Nice! I wrap up my day by writing in my journal.

A: 자러가기 전에는 뭘 해요?
B: 어디보자. 음, 다음 날을 위해서 해야 할 일 목록을 써요. 그리고 나서는 5분 동안 명상을 하죠.
A: 멋지네요! 전 일기 쓰는 것으로 하루를 마무리해요.

Level 2. 이지 잉글리쉬.

A: Aww.. He's so cute and adorable.
B: Right when I saw him, I fell in love with him. I couldn't say no.
A: I totally understand how you must've felt. But it's going to be a lot of work.
B: I know, but that'll make me become more active. I'm sure I'll be healthier.

A: 어우~ 너무 귀엽고 사랑스러워요.
B: 얘를 보자마자 사랑에빠졌단다. 거절할 수가 없었어.
A: 기분이 어떠셨을지 정말 이해가 되네요. 근데 일이 아주 많을 거예요.
B: 그러게, 근데 그게 날 더 활동적으로 만들어 주겠지. 분명히 내가 더 건강해질거야.

Level 3. 입트영.

TESOL.

I am an English teacher at a language institute. I recently started an online TESOL course to gain expertise. TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. It's a type of training course that provides teaching methods to English instructors who teach English to people as a second language.

TESOL courses teach various teaching methods, each with a focus on reading, listening, speaking, or writing. The course also consists of classes that teach useful skills that can be used in the classroom. These include instructional management and creating teaching material.

The course I am enrolled in is a 5-week-long online course. Its biggest draw is that I can study on the side while still working at my day job. I feel elated because it feels like I am in college again when I attend the lectures. I hope to complete the coursework soon and become certified as a TESOL instructor. I long for that sense of accomplishment.

테솔.

나는 어학원에 근무 중인 영어 강사다. 전문성을 갖추기 위해 최근 온라인 테솔 과정을 시작했다. TESOL은 Teaching English to Speackers of Other Languages의 약자로, 사람들에게 제 2 언어로 영어를 가르치는 영어강사들에게 교수법을 전수하는 훈련 과정의 일종이다.

테솔 과정은 읽기, 듣기, 말하기, 쓰기에 각각 초점을 맞춘 여러 교수법을 가르친다. 더불어, 수업 관리, 수업 자료 만들기등 교육현장에서 사용할 수 있는 유용한 기술을 가르치는 수업들로 구성되어 있다.

내가 등록한 과정은 온라인 5주 코스여서, 본업을 하면서 부수적으로 학습이 가능한 것이 가장 큰 장점이다. 강의를 들을 때는 마치 다시 대학교에 온 기분이 들어서 설레기도 한다 빨리 과정을 이수해서 테솔 강사 자격증을 발급받아 성취감을 맛보고 싶다.
