Talk about the issue of abandoned dogs and cats.

Abandoned dogs and cats are adopted pets that later cast aside. Sadly, the number of abandoned companion animals is rising every year. Some animals make their way to animal shelters, but many put to sleep as they wait for adoption. It really gets me down when I see these abandoned animals.

Some people are prejudiced, and think that these stray animals can do a lot of harm. But from the animals' perspective, they are just doing what they can to survive. They rummage through trash to find food, and look for places to warm themselves in the cold winter.

There are people who regularly feed these animals on the streets. In the winter, simply providing unfrozen water could be enough to save their lives.

유기견과 유기묘에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

유기견과 유기묘는 입양되었다가 나중에 버려진 반려동물을 뜻한다. 안타깝게도, 버려지는 반려동물의 수는 매년 증가하고 있다. 보호소로 가는 동물들도 있지만 상당수는 입양을 기다리다가 안락사 된다. 이렇게 유기되는 동물들을 보면 마음이 너무 아프다.

이러한 유기 동물들이 사람들에게 큰 해를 끼친다는 편견을 가진 사람들이 있다. 그러나 동물의 입장에서 보면, 그들은 그저 생존을 위해 최선을 다하고 있는것 뿐이다. 먹이를 찾으려고 쓰레기통을 뒤지고, 추운 겨울이면 몸을 녹일 곳을 찾는다.

어떤 사람들은 길에 사는 동물들에게 주기적으로 먹이를 주기도 한다. 겨울에는 얼지 않은 물을 주는 것만으로도 동물들의 소중한 생명을 살릴 수 있다.
