<말하기 연습>
It's been 23 years since I got my first job, and I've become a team leader for the first time. When I first joined the company, I often wondered how long I'd be able to last as a woman in such a male-dominated workplace. I am proud of myself for making it this far over the past 23 years.
저는 직장 생활 23년차인 초임 팀장입니다. 처음 회사에 입사했을 때, 여자로서 이런 '남초' 회사 에서 내가 언제까지 버틸 수 있을까라는 생각을 많이 했습니다. 지난 23년간 여기까지 달려온 제가 자랑스럽습니다.

Balancing work and raising two kids wasn't easy. When I had my first child, parental leave was something that existed only on paper. But by the time I had my second child, social attitudes had begun to shift. I became the first person in my company to officially take parental leave, and I was out for eight months.
두 아이를 키우면서 직장 생활을 병행하기란 쉽지 않았습니다. 첫째 아이를 출산했을 당시에는 육아 휴직은 그냥 규정상으로만 존재할 뿐이었습니다. 그러나, 둘째 아이를 출산했을 때는 사회 인식도 조금씩 바뀌게 되었습니다. 저는 회사 내 공식 '육아 휴직 1호' 타이틀을 달고 8개월간 휴직을 하게 되었습니다.

Over the years, there were many times when I wanted to quit. But now I feel like I can finally see the path ahead, and I'm starting to achieve my goals. Just like the saying, "Those who endure are the ones who win," I do my best every day, dreaming of making it all the way to retirement.
오랜 시간 회사에 다니며 떠나고 싶은 순간도 많았지만, 이제는 길도 보이고 꿈도 이루게 되는 것 같습니다. '버티는 자가 이기는 자다'라는 명언처럼, 저는 오늘도 최선을 다하면서 정년까지 다닐 날을 꿈꿔 봅니다.
